THE BRINGER OF CALAMITYA rising unrest began to spread throughout all the circles of hell. All of demonkind were talking about the new entity that had garnered so much attention. A creature of unknown origin, name and form had decimated the lesser circles with such ease; even the most brutal, severe and torturous 9^th Hell with all its frozen tundra and exceptionally vile beings had fallen. They were now all under the rule of this malevolent spirit, for better or worse.Their rumours began to build as each bloody red moon cycled; their form so ferocious it tore into the flesh of the most savage beasts with ease. Their power caused legions to fall, the most hardened of demons to kneel and most experienced torturers to look on in awe. Eventually, the denizens of Hell began to suspect that maybe this unknown creature was what the prophecy foretold; a great beast would unite all the circles, becoming the first Knight of Hell and bring the Great Calamity. A horrendous cataclysm that would bring Heaven and Earth to bedrock. Perhaps this was it, their leader had finally come to bring what they all deserved!Since their Knight had no name that was known to them, the residents of Hell began referring to them as the Impaler. An appropriately hideous name and one they hoped would be brought to action once they were on Earth. Now all they had to do was wait for a human to summon the Knight, a folly of their hubris that time and time again became so delectable. It now no longer mattered how long it took, world domination was imminent.THE IMPALERLittle did Hell know that the Impaler was already on Earth. The Impaler's sigils had been drawn in blood by two great sorcerers, now quivering in the presence of the demon. They looked at them, then to the summoning circle, then to the four legged creature digging through what looked to be like a large receptacle of foul smelling items. The four legged beast sensed the shift in the air and made a loud, screeching bark before running away."SO CUTE! I didn't realise my favourite demons were here too" a voice echoed in the alleyway, and with a burst of bright green flames stood a rather.. small girl. A long skeletal tail, two large and tall fox ears with green flames."What're you looking at?" She sneered, looking down at the two sorcerers quivering on the floor. "Man.. i'm hungry. Where's my sacrifice?"The two teenagers looked at each other and with shakey hands, one reached in their bag and pulled out a stick of umaibo offering it to the fox..demon..girl?"SO GOOD!" She screeched, wagging her tail. She grabs the boys bag and began stuffing her face with the freshly bought snacks contained within. The sigils, written in red paint - not blood - scuffed under her boots. As she was distracted, the two ran away leaving their belongings with her. Shrugging, she turned and rummaged some more. Some rectangular device? Huh. Weird. she thought, before letting out an ear piercing screech as the screen turned on and began to play some music.KNIGHT OF HELL TURNED NEETHell's a drag, why would I want to be in charge of a bunch of losers anyway. Imp looked up from her manga to the ceiling of the room she now occupies most of her time. Work is so annoying, playing games and reading manga is a much more fulfilling life, She snickered, in her chaotic little way. I wonder if the new event is out on FFXIV anyway..Imp had made a home in her small little house, channelling her power to create two Ghouls so she could stop accidentally burning everything she touched. And maybe.. for a little company. Shunning the hells for maybe the rest of eternity, the Bringer of Calamity had dedicated herself to a life of comfort, games and avoiding all responsibilities.
